Following a successful first year supporting 56 entrepreneurs, Village Capital and Sage Foundation are launching the second year of Sage Impact Entrepreneurship – a global initiative empowering early-stage founders who are creating social, environmental, and economic impact in their communities.

Village Capital has announced the appointment of Ellen Brooks as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 2025. She will succeed Allie Burns, who announced earlier this year her decision to step down after 6.5 years as CEO and more than nine years with the organization.

Village Capital, in collaboration with Standard Chartered US, announced that Giving Credit and Imera were selected by their peers to receive USD 25,000 in grants to support their operations as part of the US Women in Tech Accelerator program.
