Twelve Fintech Startups Selected for Village Capital’s Finance Forward Latin America 2020 Accelerator
July 23, 2020 (Mexico City, MX) —Village Capital, with the support of MetLife Foundation, PayPal, and Moody’s, today announced the twelve early-stage fintech startups selected to take part in Finance Forward Latin America 2020. An accelerator, Finance Forward Latin America 2020 will provide the startups with five weeks of training focused on improving their business models and making their solutions available to those who need them most in the current economic climate.

Xendoo, Worthy Financial Peer-Selected For Funding During Village Capital's Finance Forward US 2019 Accelerator Program
Washington, DC and New York, NY (January 21, 2020) — Village Capital today announced that Xendoo and Worthy Financial were peer-selected for funding during Finance Forward US 2019, an accelerator program that is a part of Finance Forward. A multi-year global coalition led by founding partners MetLife Foundation and PayPal, Finance Forward is supporting entrepreneurs on four continents who are building tech-enabled solutions to challenges around financial health.

Two Latin American Startups Are Selected to Receive Grants at Village Capital Financial Health Accelerator
October 16, 2019 (Mexico City) —Village Capital announced today that two financial health startups, Monetus and ArriendoAsegurado, were selected by their peers as “most investment-ready” at the conclusion of Finance Forward: Latin America 2019, an accelerator to support financial health startups in Latin America. Each will receive USD $50,000 from MetLife Foundation, the proceeds of the grants will be used to strengthen and scale their operations.
